Boost Your Workout with these Quick Tips (Hint: they may, or may not, involve some electrolytes and pre workout)

So, you are hammering those New Years resolutions.  Your are dialing in your nutrition. Runs are kicking your ass.  Your time in the gym is reaching epic levels. But are your workouts really all they can be?  Are you bringing your A-game? If you think you can do a little better, optimize those workouts to their fullest, you can- here are 5 tips to bring your workouts to the next level.

Tip #1

Maybe keep your workouts to 30-40 minutes.  I know a lot of people think you need to spend hours at the gym to see results.  Truth is, after about 30-40 minutes, your intensity starts to fade. Your muscles can only produce so many quality lifts. And everyone knows, it’s always quality over quantity.

Tip #2

Prep for your workout the right way.  No one wants to hit the gym tired. Hydrate. Get in some pre workout about 15-20 minutes before your workout session. Our PreWorkout is fortified with beta-alanine to help reduce fatigue and lactic acid build up. Not to mention, it tastes damn good too.

Tip #3

Get some carbs in. Though the low carb/no carb group may beg to differ, carbs is still our bodies main source of fuel. Stack our PreWorkout with our Enhanced Creatine (flavored or unflavored, your call) for a little bit of those quick carbs to fuel yourself for the gym or a run.

Tip #4

Lift heavier.  Run faster.  Ride some over & unders. Your body is capable of more than you think.  Be committed. Take the leap and work hard, because every workout will bring you One Step Closer.

Tip #5

If you learned anything from our previous blog post on hydration and electrolytes, you should know that being adequately hydrated with the right electrolytes is a game changer. Ride that Seven Seas Electrolyte wave and make sure your muscles are primed for what you are asking them to do.

Here’s a bonus tip for you as well. Pick a cardio you like. Or one that you want to be better at.  If you like running, but feel like you are as slow as molasses, maybe you are- but does that really matter? Do it anyway. Your workouts should make you happy and leave you with a sense of accomplishment. Not dread.  If running is not your jam, try cycling. Channel your inner Mario Cippolini or Tadej Pogacar and pedal. Just make sure you are chugging some Seven Seas while you do it.

So, it’s time to level up. Keep hitting those goals and kicking your resolution’s ass. All you need is a little bit of the right nutrition, some supplements that will help your body reach optimization and a little bit of confidence that YOU are making it happen. So do a little better- bring that A-Game.
